• Several years of formal education and training in Yacht Design,
• 1 years as a valuable team member of the well known Hector Domato design team,
• 4 years with the design office of boat builder Astilleros Ortholand SRL., and
• 4 years with the design office of boat builder Astilleros Tecnimar, working for Alberto Mercati, famous Italian Naval Architect

Yachts designed by Gino Gandino Yacht Design, have been built by some of the best shipyards in South America and Italy as well as other countries noted for building very high quality Yachts.

His reputation is verified by the quantity of Owners, Boat builders, and Dealers from diverse parts of the world that prefer Gandino designed Yachts to built custom or production yachts.

That preference is the result of Gino’s emphasis toward unique innovation and evolution in Yacht design.

Application of these points, have led to the development new projects, exploring and establishing new forms. His search for new design challenges is driven by his understanding the individual builder’s assets and limitations, allowing Gino’s team to utilize suitable materials and construction methods, for the specific builder, whenever possible.

Gino evaluates the potential of traditional and new design techniques, via patient communication with both Clients and Manufacturers.

Since 1982, Gino Gandino and his staff professional Naval Architects and Engineers have created over 100 Yacht designs, resulting in over 600 Yachts on the water.
